1 Dental Hygienist:
A dental hygienist performs tasks related to oral health and hygiene such as cleaning teeth, etc.

2 Occupational therapists:-
Occupational therapists provide medical assistance to patients suffering from physical and mental disabilities.
■ Opportunities: Opportunities will be available in private and government medical institutions, schools, daycare centres, and rehab centres.
■ Income: 15 to 20 thousand rupees per month in the beginning.
■ Roadmap: It is a four-year degree (B.Sc.) course. 6 months Internship is mandatory. The path will open through CUET, IPU, and CET entrance examinations. Admission in some colleges is also based on merit.
Major Institutes: DP Institute of Professional Studies Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, Aligarh School of Nursing, Indian Institute of Health Education and Research, Bihar, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College.
3 Medical Laboratory Technology:
These are professionals who operate and maintain medical equipment. They work with doctors and scientists.
■ Opportunities: You will get work as a Laboratory Manager, Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician in private and government hospitals, research institutes etc.
■ Income: Around Rs 35 to 40 thousand per month.
■ Roadmap: Three-year degree courses and a two-year diploma are also available. Apply after the 12th with 50% marks in the PCB subject. You will have to take an entrance exam.
■ Institutions: Manipal University, Christian Medical College, Vellore, JIPMER.
4 Nutrition and Dietetics:-
As a nutrition and dietetics expert, you can also become a part of the healthcare field.

Yoga and Naturopathy can also be the way forward:-
The government is promoting Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy as career skills and is also opening many such hospitals. About 157 new medical and 12,500 AYUSH health and wealth centres are also going to open in the country. Students with degrees, diplomas or certificates will get benefits here. The Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga course is usually of 5 years and 6 months duration. An internship is necessary here.
Generally, NEET scores are preferable but some institutes give entrance examinations based on 12th marks.
■ Opportunities: After Care Department of Hospitals, Opportunities in the Naturopathy department, you can practice it as a consultant.
